RAW Strategies was born out of a career spent at the intersection of politics, business, and media. After more than two decades advising campaigns and organizations across the country, I saw firsthand how relationships and strategy shape outcomes—and how many firms failed to adapt to a rapidly changing landscape. From Texas to Washington, D.C., and New York, I built a trusted network that has opened doors for leaders and brands alike. Launching RAW Strategies was about channeling that experience into a firm that not only leverages those connections, but also harnesses the power of AI and data-driven marketing to give clients an edge. Our mission is simple: combine proven relationships with modern technology to deliver results others can’t.
Meet Our Owner
Ash Wright is a nationally recognized political strategist and public relations expert. Throughout his extensive and successful career, he has served as the chief strategist for hundreds of campaigns across more than 25 states, Puerto Rico, and two countries. He was named to the 2019 40 Under 40 list by the American Association of Political Consultants, recognizing him as one of the nation's top political strategists. Wright is the founder and owner of RAW Strategies, which manages political campaigns and corporate and university public relations. Additionally, he is a frequent guest host on NewsMax, the fastest-growing cable network in North America, and appears weekly on other national and international news outlets.
Wright gained national notoriety in 2016 for leading the grassroots effort for the Republican National Committee and President Trump's campaigns in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Ohio. This critical role was instrumental in securing Pennsylvania for the Republican National Committee for the first time in over 40 years. In 2018, Wright received the Reed Award from Campaign & Elections for Best Paid Grassroots Program for ensuring Pennsylvania's support for the Republican presidential nominee.
Wright is most widely known for his role as the Senior Political Advisor to George P. Bush (son of Gov. Jeb Bush, nephew of President George W. Bush, and grandson of President George H.W. Bush). He led Bush's successful campaigns for Texas Land Commissioner in 2014 and 2018. The Texas Land Commissioner oversees over 13 million acres of state land that is leased out for oil and gas drilling and raw earth mineral mining. The agency produces over $2 Billion dollars annually for public schools in Texas. Throughout his career, he served as a chief strategist for the Bush family, working on George W. Bush’s presidential campaign and Gov. Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign and managing the last two winning campaigns in Texas for America’s only political dynasty.
Finally, Wright has played a key role in expanding the Republican Party's diverse lineup of candidates, including the landmark campaign to elect Susana Martinez as the first Hispanic female governor in our nation's history.
